Metaphysical - Aquamarine Crystal

One handsome chunky aquamarine crystal, acquired through an estate auction in 1995, this crystal has had its natural point removed to make a faceted gemstone. Back in the day, this was customary procedure for many lapidary folk....its how they honed their faceting skills and practiced perfect facets.

None the less this specimen is crystal clear and with an awesome iced aqua coloring. Wrapped in 20 gauge sterling silver round wire, completed simply with 2mm tan leather cord, an adjustable slip knot and one lamp work bead made from recycled Idaho Prairie Glass shards.

The neck length limits are 16" up to 24". The natural crystal measures: 1 1/8" wide by 5/8" thick 1 1/4" tall....or 40 grams...or 1.20 ounces.

“Aquamarine is a stone of courage. Its calming energies reduce stress and quiet the mind. It harmonizes its surroundings and protects against pollutants. In ancient times it was believed to counteract the forces of darkness and procure favor from the spirits of light. It was carried by sailors as a talisman against drowning. Spiritually, aquamarine sharpens intuition and clairvoyance. A wonderful stone for meditation, it evokes high states of consciousness and spiritual awareness and encourages service to humanity.” Reference guide: The Crystal Bible – Judy Hall

This metaphysical pendant will arrive in a hand made gift box from my other shop: ecovinatgevegan.etsy.com
where my other love of making hadn made boxes have been featured on the flip book cover of December issue of Country Living magazine.
